Day 14 of 30 in 30 - Rapala Fishing Lure

Day 14 of 30 paintings in 30 days - Rapala Fishing Lure

4x4x1" Acrylic on Wooden Cradled Board

The painting with the inspiration.

And side by side with his new buddy from day 13.

I'm happy enough with how these two turned out, but I'm also glad to have them behind me. Teeny details aren't for me. They stress me out!! And who needs that?!

Thanks for stopping by!

Day 13 of 30 in 30 - Fishing Lure

Day 13 - Fishing Lure - 4x4x1" Acrylic on Wooden Cradled Board

Side view

I won't be doing another one this small with details like this. I forgot how much I hated doing detail work. I don't have the brushes for it and I don't want to buy them since I don't enjoy it. I probably won't do a companion to this little fishing lure. Life is short; Do what you enjoy. Except taxes. You have to do those.
